Job Description

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-moving New York City company, for a sharp, resourceful Right Hand to the CEO. This is a rare entry level opportunity to sit at the center of the business, working directly with executive leadership on the priorities that matter most day to day. You will get an unfiltered view of how a company is run, from strategic planning to the smallest operational details that keep everything moving.

The day to day is fast, varied, and never quite the same from one week to the next. One moment you might be pulling together a board deck, the next you are coordinating a last minute trip or tracking down an answer the CEO needs before a call. People who thrive in this role are proactive, discreet, and energized by ambiguity, comfortable juggling multiple priorities without losing sight of what matters most, and eager to learn the business from the inside out.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the CEOs calendar, scheduling, and daily priorities
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and board meeting decks
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Track action items across projects and follow up to ensure deadlines are met
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal teams, partners, and clients
  • Handle confidential information with sound judgment and discretion
  • Research topics, competitors, and market trends as requested
  • Draft and proofread emails, memos, and internal communications
  • Support special projects and initiatives as they arise
  • Help organize company events, offsites, and leadership meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • High level of discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Self starter attitude with strong problem solving instincts
  • Availability to accommodate occasional early or late calls across time zones

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401k plan with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Professional development and learning budget
  • Direct mentorship and exposure to executive leadership
  • Parental leave benefits
  • Company provided laptop and technology
  • Employee wellness programs
