Durable Restoration Company is seeking an experienced and motivated  International Construction Project Manager  to oversee our new construction project  onsite in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina . This is an exciting opportunity for a construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys international travel, and is passionate about delivering quality projects from start to finish.

This position is  based in the United States , with your home office located in either  Columbus, Ohio  or  Savage, Maryland . The role requires extended international travel, typically 2–3 weeks per trip , to support project operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Core Qualifications

• Associate degree (minimum two-year degree) in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field  or  equivalent construction field experience.
• Previous experience in construction management, construction administration, or architectural project coordination.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Submittals and the submittal process
  • Shop drawings
  • Product data
  • Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Change orders
  • Pay applications
  • General construction administration
• Ability to read and interpret construction specifications, blueprints, and contract documents.
• Working knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) construction software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, research, and problem-solving abilities with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for extended assignments (2–3 weeks at a time).
• Valid driver's license with  four (4) or fewer points  for insurance eligibility.
• Valid U.S. passport or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to successfully pass:
  • Pre-employment and random drug screenings, we are a drug free workplace
  • Pre-employment background check
  • Federal, NSA, and Department of Defense background investigations for government and military projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous field construction experience.
• Experience working on commercial, government, or military construction projects.
