Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pasta & Pastry Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing fresh pasta, pastry components, desserts, and other kitchen prep items while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, cleanliness, and food safety. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and passionate about handcrafted food.

• Prepare fresh pasta doughs, filled pastas, and other pasta components according to recipes and standards.
• Prepare pastry items, desserts, breads, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods as directed by the pastry chef or executive chef.
• Measure, mix, portion, and label ingredients for daily production.
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all products.
• Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and receiving deliveries.
• Keep prep areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Properly store and label all prepared products.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production deadlines.
• Support the culinary team with additional prep tasks as needed.
• Follow all company recipes, procedures, and kitchen standards.

• Previous kitchen, bakery, or pastry experience is preferred but not required.
• Passion for cooking, baking, and learning new techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Food Handler Certification is a plus.
