Labor & Employment Law Attorney Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Plaintiff Labor & Employment Attorney with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of litigating employment cases, excellent legal writing and advocacy skills, and a strong commitment to fighting for justice on behalf of employees.
Key Responsibilities :
* Manage a caseload of plaintiff labor and employment matters from inception to resolution.
* Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
* Take and manage depositions, and conduct meet and confers to advance case objectives..
* Help prepare for and participate in mediation, and otherwise assist in negotiations to resolve employment matters on a class or individual basis as appropriate.
* Provide counsel and advice to clients regarding their legal rights and potential claims
* Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to develop effective legal strategies.
* Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court as necessary.
Qualifications :
* 1+ years of experience in plaintiff or defense Employment Law preferred (Candidates with 3+ years of general litigation will be considered)
* Experience class action and/or single action employment law matters including: Unpaid wages, discrinination, harrassment, wrongful termination, maternity leave, class action, migrant workers, immigration
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for advocating for employees and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
* J.D. from an accredited law school.
* Licensed in CA in good standing.
