Star Speech Therapy Inc. is a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based pediatric practice dedicated to supporting children and families through connection, play, and authentic communication. Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time SLPA who is deeply aligned with neurodiversity-affirming values and passionate about working with young children and their families. This role is ideal for someone who values connection over compliance and approaches therapy with curiosity, flexibility, and respect.

Role Description

• Providing quality care and treating children of all ages with fluency, articulation challenges, and other speech disorders
• Creating unique, individualized treatment plans outlined by Physical Therapist
• Coordinating patient care with other healthcare professionals
• Clearly communicating treatment goals, expectations, and the importance of home programs to parents

Key Responsibilities

• Implement speech therapy sessions
• Use play-based, child-led approaches
• Support regulation, autonomy, and communication
• Collaborate with supervising SLP
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with families
• Complete session documentation

Qualifications

• Active California SLPA license
• Pediatric experience or strong interest in early childhood
