Job Description

Since 1970, Alvey's Signs has been a commercial sign company dedicated to interior signs and exterior signage. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include electronic messaging centers, custom banners, vinyl graphics, large format printing, and LED illuminated signs.

We are seeking an experienced industrial / automotive Spray Painter to join our local sign manufacturing team! The selected individual will be responsible for spray painting signs. Previous spray painting experience is required, but does not have to be sign industry experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform all work in a safe manner
  • Maintains a safe and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy
  • Be responsible for overall customer satisfaction with regards to communication, workmanship, and quality
  • Spray painting signs
  • Utilizes the proper tools and techniques to ensure efficient, timely, and quality installation of all products
  • Maintains painting supplies and equipment, including spray guns, air hoses, pumps, paper, and tape
  • Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment
  • Ability to work weekdays and weekends

Qualifications:

  • Previous spray painting experience required (Aluminum sign spray painting, automotive spray painting, etc.)
  • Experience in automotive or industrial equipment paint prepping. Sign industry experience preferred.
  • Must be completely drug free at all times
  • Being reliable, responsible and dependable
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret work orders, shop orders, quality plans, blueprints, and work instructions to complete tasks
  • Being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks
  • Possesses mechanical aptitude and the skill to operate hand power tools and equipment
